Around 4 p.m. on Tuesday, four people were injured in a seven-car-pileup. According to West Baton Rouge Parish Deputy Cliff Ivey, none of the injuries were life threatening.
The crash occurred on I-10 westbound near mile marker 142, a couple mines from the Grosse Tete exit, which caused traffic to back up for hours. The accident included three 18-wheeler trucks and four passenger vehicles.
One of the 18-wheeler truck drivers struck a car after he lost control of his vehicle.
