Simien & Simien Giving Away Refreshments, School Supplies at Louisiana Sugar Cane Festival
Simien & Simien is excited to announce that we will be taking part in the 76th Annual Louisiana Sugar Cane Festival in New Iberia on Saturday, Sept. 23 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Stop by our office on 424 W. Main Street at the intersection with Corrine Street where we are giving away free school supplies and refreshments. We are giving out one gift bag per student while supplies last.
The sugar cane festival is held from Sept. 20 through 24 in New Iberia. The event includes a variety of activities:
Fairgrounds and carnival
Five kilometer run
Sugar cookery contest
Livestock show
Home and business decorating contest
Car show
Candy toss parade
Flower show
Art show
Photography show
Simien & Simien is a proud member of the New Iberia community and we are excited to take part in one of this area’s biggest events.
